Daily Synopsis
So im back on drive after a couple days without guests, and as always, I seemed to miss out on some good stuff, most notably the wild dogs that were around for a couple of days.

I was back on drive on Sunday afternoon and had quite a chilled affair -  we began with impala, warthogs, hippos, waterbuck and wildebeest in the north around the camp and Argyle Dam.

Moving south it quietened down until Java where the impalas, warthogs, zebras and giraffes came out – the others also saw elephant and buffalo around the area, but I pushed a bit south and got to see two rhinos grazing in the open as the sun was setting.

After a quick drink we carried on further south and went to see the Mabande and Ximpoko male lions, but my timing was out, and they got mobile and active a bit earlier than usual and I had to race to catch them for two or three minutes before they crossed our eastern boundary – luckily they did give us a roar in that time!

Heading home we enjoyed a giant eagle owl and two young hyenas at the den site, but no sign of the new babies...maybe tomorrow , although I think everyone will be looking for the leopards that have been so scarce the last few days J
